MAX developed the 400psi High Pressure System and introduced the system in the Japanese market in 1994. In 2006 MAX started selling the High Pressure System in North America and has been expanding the market of next-generation fastening systems.
Why high pressure? It's simple. Higher air pressure brings higher driving power. The high pressure fastening tools are increadibly powerful, yet their tool size is 40% smaller and tool weight is 30% lighter than conventional 100psi models.
With the High Pressure System you can not only fasten hard engineered woods but also wood to concrete, wood to steel, I beam and steel to concrete.

- DC Brushless Motor with inverter circuit . The DC Brushless Motor is more powerful, quieter and lighter than the conventional motors. Also the inverter circuit on the motor adjusts the RPM to extract the maxinum performance depending on the voltage level.
- Easy drain lever Just by turning the lever, the ball valve opens and drains the air and water easily
- 4 air-outlets provide flexibility 4 air-outlets are equipped on the compressor. 2 outlets for PowerLite high pressure tools. and 2 outlets for regular pressure tools.
- Temperature / Electrical Status This LED and beeping system indicates problems such as high temperature or low voltage.
- Power Mode Selector You can select Nomal or High Power Mode.
- Quiet Mode Silent drive only 68 dB.
- Maintenance LED This lights up when compresssor motor reaches 1,000 hours.
- Silent Drive (Motor Floating) Noise - reduced rubber bushing between the motor and the tank unit.
