The Steel Vision SVT4000 Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet is designed to provide professional-grade eye protection, comfort and performance for MIG, TIG and ARC welding applications.

Featuring a True Colour Auto-Darkening Filter, the lens remains in Shade 4 while not welding, allowing the operator to clearly view the workpiece before striking an arc. Once the arc is detected, the filter automatically darkens in just 1/25,000 of a second, providing instant protection from harmful light. When welding stops, the lens quickly returns to its light state for uninterrupted workflow.

The helmet incorporates 2 highly responsive arc sensors and an externally adjustable Shade 9-13 control, making shade adjustments fast and convenient without removing the helmet. A dedicated Grind Mode also allows the helmet to be used for grinding applications without activating the auto-darkening filter.

Powered by a solar cell with replaceable battery, the SVT4000 delivers reliable long-term performance while maintaining excellent optical clarity with a 1/1/1/2 optical classification.
