he Knipex 71 01/02 series Colbolt® compact bolt cutters have a lever action mechanism which guarantees an extremely favourable lever ratio with low friction, and cutting performance is 20 times higher than the hand force applied (Requires 60 % less effort). The Colbolt® compact bolt cutters are ideal for piano wire or for soft solid wire, bolts, nails, rivets and screws. The cutters are induction-hardened and with precision cutting edges. Edge hardness approximately 64HRc for added strength and durability, they have exceptional cutting performance with minimal physical effort because of the lever action. The cutter is manufactured from chrome-vanadium electric steel with an head anaromatizedd oil hardened to enhance quality.
