Manual Door Lock Mortising Jig Kit is suitable for home / DIY or trade applications and is guaranteed to save time. Ideal for use with an electric / cordless drill or router / trimmer and is easy to install and operate. The Jig is designed to cut the mortise for door locks up to 100mm deep and also the lockâ„ ¢s faceplate.

• Easy Set Up and Alignment
  • Clamp the jig to your door and align it to ensure the mortise cut is in the centre of the door
  • Clamp can also be used to cut out the lockâ„ ¢s faceplate “ the jig is supplied with a protective cap to allow this to be done without marking the door
• Robust jig increases accuracy and speed of mortise cutting
• Horizontal & Vertical Depth Stops
  • Easily lock the length and depth of cut to ensure there is no damage to the door
• Suitable For Most Door Materials
  • Use on wood / timber , plank and solid wood doors, hotel doors, security doors, fire doors and modifying door locks etc.
• Bearing base slide adjustment
• High Speed Steel Carbide Tipped Cutters
  • Supplied with 18mm, 22mm and 24mm cutters to accomodate the most widely used lock widths

• Compatible with Most Power Drills
  • Use with a 13mm chuck at a speed of between 2,000  and 3,000RPM
• Clamping jaws are equipped with rubber faces to protect the doors
