Water has several functions when you sharpen tools using the Tormek water-cooled sharpening systems. It keeps the steel cool so it doesn't lose its tempering, and it leads away steel particles and any grindstone dust so that you don't breathe it in.

The WT-200 Water Trough for T-4 fits Tormek machine models with a 200 mm (7 7/8") grinding wheel – the Tormek T-4, Tormek T-3 and Tormek 1200. If your old water trough is broken, simply replace it with a new one.
